R.M. Williams

Born in outback Australia in 1932, R. M. Williams has continued to evolve in the entrepreneurial traditions of its founder, Reginald Murray Williams. The iconic "Craftsman boots"​ are already known and sold across the globe, and it was to realise the global potential of the brand that L Catterton– a private equity company backed by LVMH – and IFM, representing Australian super funds, invested into the business. In 1932 our founder, Reginald Murray Williams AO, CMG began to make bush saddlery and boots for sale, while camped at Nepabunna, in South Australia's remote Gammon Ranges.
