The Renault Group is today the third largest automotive manufacturer in the world. Since developing their first car in 1898, Renault has over 110 years of motoring excellence and a solid history of industry-changing innovations. Renault first came to Australia in 1903 when 60 vehicles were imported. Renault quickly established a manufacturing plant in 1964 at Heidelberg, to assemble vehicles. In 2001, Renault Australia recommenced the importing of vehicles, all leading up to today’s model line-up, including Passenger Vehicles, Renault Sport Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles.
