Welcome to Best of the Week, written on Friday at beautiful Sisters Beach, Tasmania. Today’s writing soundtrack: Bob Dylan, Blood on the Tracks.

This week I passed the 100,000 word mark on writing my book. Which would be quite the result  if I hadn’t been aiming for 80,000 words, and didn’t still have some more to write yet. Regular readers of BOTW will be aware I do have a tendency to overwrite at times. Still, I can almost see the finish line and a return to full time at Mumbrella.
