Welcome to Best of the Week, written on Friday in beautiful Sisters Beach, Tasmania.

It’s been another week of chugging away on the book. With 29,348 words down, I’m perhaps a third of the way through. I’m trying not to get too anxious about the fact that I’ve used more than a third of the available time to get here. My most common reaction as I’ve been doing research interviews for it this week has been to wish I’d known at the time what I’ve been learning now.
