Accounts Payable – Assistant Accountant

Hey there, spreadsheet hero!

We’re an award-winning Sydney agency looking for someone who’s all about accuracy, detail, and getting things done without hand-holding all while soaking up the creative energy around here. This isn’t just another AP role; you’ll fully own the Accounts Payable space and have the chance to step up and take on more responsibility within the next 18 months.

Your day-to-day:
• Keep our supplier invoices in line (data entry, allocation, reconciliation)
• Pay our freelancers so they keep bringing the magic
• Run smooth, timely payment runs
• Answer payment queries without breaking a sweat
• Get those all-important approvals ticked off
• Bank + credit card reconciliation (your balance game is strong)
• Keep timesheets on track
• Handle Fixed Assets & Prepayments like a pro
• Close out AP at month-end
• Track expenses
• Jump on ad hoc finance requests (variety = spice of life)

You’re perfect for this if you:
• Have 2+ years in an Accounts Payable role
• Spot tiny errors like a hawk
• Can work solo and gel with a team
• Own your AP responsibilities like a boss
• Manage your time like a pro
• Bonus: you’ve used Workbook, Pegasus, or BCC (but no stress if not)
• Already have the right to work in Australia
