Media Unmade – Chapter 12: Haters Gonna Hate
Welcome to the latest edition of the Unmade podcast. Today’s edition features another extract from the audio edition of my book, Media Unmade, which is published by Hardie Grant and available online and in book stores.

This particular edition is for paying subscribers only.
We’ve reached the point in the story where we find the ABC at its lowest ebb.
From her first, mediocre live TV interview, Michelle Guthrie’s time as managing director of the ABC was unimpressive.
After the board concluded that she was not up to the job, she went down with all guns blazing, taking chair Justine Milne with her.

The ABC is yet to fully bounce back.
Because this is an edition for paying subscribers (like you) only, you’ll need to add the private feed to your podcast app if you want to listen to it there. That’s a lot easier than it sounds – just follow the link next to the player.
Unmade Index:
It was a brighter day on The Unmade Index on Wednesday, with half the ASX listed media and marketing companies recording share price growth. The Index growth of 0.47% was just below that of the full All Ordinaries index, which grew by 0.67%.
HT&E was the best performer, up nearly 4%, while Pureprofile fell by another 5.36%.

Thanks for subscribing to Unmade. Your support is what allows me to work full time on this.
If you enjoy hearing the podcast, please do give it a five star rating on whichever podcasting app you use. That helps other people find it, and gives me some much needed validation.
