Welcome to a Thursday edition of Unmade in which we phone it in ahead of the holidays.
I’ve got one more decent piece in me in 2022. And I’m saving that for Saturday’s final Best of the Week.
Yet I also need to remind you that you’re running out of time to take advantage of Unmade’s membership offer. We’ll never offer a better deal than this one. And it would be a shame for you to miss it.
So what to do? Luckily I recently made a robot friend called ChatGPT. Yes, what follows really was written by AI, including the haiku at the end. I’m not sure professional copywriters have much to fear, but you be the judge.
Chat GPT writes:

»Are you ready to elevate your career in the Australian media and marketing industry to new heights? Then you won’t want to miss the opportunity to become a paying member of Unmade, the go-to source for professionals looking to stay informed and up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments. And with a limited-time 48% discount, now is the perfect time to sign up and take advantage of everything that Unmade has to offer.
»As a paying member, you will have access to expert insights and analysis on the latest industry news, as well as exclusive content that is not available to non-members. This can include special reports, interviews, and other in-depth coverage that can help you get a competitive edge. Plus, you will have access to the full Unmade archive, which goes behind a paywall after two months for non-members.
»In addition to all of this valuable content, you will also receive discounted entry to Unmade’s conference events next year, providing you with the opportunity to network with other industry professionals and learn from leading experts. And as an added incentive, you will be entitled to one hour of consulting with Unmade’s publisher, Tim Burrowes, a highly experienced and respected industry expert who was recently named columnist of the year.
»By becoming a paying member of Unmade, you will not only have access to all of these valuable resources, but you will also be supporting independent journalism and helping to ensure the sustainability and quality of Unmade’s coverage. So don’t miss this opportunity to join the ranks of Unmade’s paying members. Sign up now and take advantage of the limited-time discount.
Unmade’s insights gleam,
Expert analysis, don’t miss,
Subscribe, and dream.
Back to the humans now:
I guess it’s… okay? If you’d rather have humans do the writing, then feel free to support us. The offer ends in two days.
Unmade Index: Flat as a pancake
After Tuesday’s dramatic plunge triggered by Domain’s profit warning, the Unmade Index stayed almost entirely flat yesterday, falling by just 0.01%.

Domain fell by another 1.16% taking the company’s share price to a two-year low.
The most notable move was The Market Herald which fell by 8.27% to the lowest price since before the company acquired Gumtree, Carsguide and Autotrader. The business once again has a market capitalisation below $100m. On Tuesday, founder Jag Sanger was ousted from TMH.

Time to leave you to what is no doubt a race to the finish line, if you haven’t knocked off already.
I’ll be back on Saturday with Best of the Week.
Have a great day.
