23,700 Sydneysiders attended Taste of Sydney
Last weekend’s Taste of Sydney event drew more than 23,700 Sydneysiders.
The announcement:
More than 23,700 Sydney food lovers grazed their way across Centennial Park, over four gastronomically indulgent days at Taste of Sydney in partnership with Electrolux 2015. Sydney’s hottest restaurants, pop up bars, masterclasses, demonstrations and live music took over the park from Thursday to Sunday for the city’s favourite foodie event.
Sydneysiders created their own degustation menu selecting from over 70 dishes with everything from steamed prawn dumplings to Texas style pork belly and purple potato gnocchi to rare Glacier Toothfish. Those with a sweet tooth savored desserts such as white chocolate & caramel popsicles; carrot, yogurt & liquorice; and salted caramel éclairs.
wow and only 2 attended the Fairfax spectrum event
Why? Abalone flavoured macadamia nuts.? Why not macadamia flavoured macadamia nuts? This is nuts!
This event is a total rip off. They charge an absolute fortune for the smallest portion of food and use “crowns” as their currency and you cannot refund them.
Not worth it.
@G this year you could refund unused crowns when you leave as well as the $1 deposit on the card. I know, I wasn’t aware at first either…
