2GB host announces shock departure; Mark Levy replacement revealed
The radio presenter merry-go-round isn’t over in 2024, with yet another popular host making a shock departure announcement.
On Friday, 2GB Drive host, Chris O’Keefe, announced on air that he was wrapping up with the station effective immediately.
In a note sent to staff, seen by Mumbrella, 2GB content manager, Luke Davis, confirmed O’Keefe’s departure.
“While this is a disappointing development for many of us – it’s a decision that has been made entirely by Chris, in consultation with his family,” Davis note read.
Perhaps the ABC has offered Chris a position as radio host in its new lineup!
