2GB’s Ray Hadley dodges suspension and stays on air despite staff stoush
Sydney morning radio host Ray Hadley remained on air on 2GB this morning and reiterated his loyalty to station management after a three-day suspension was withdrawn.
Renowned hot-head Hadley was involved in a heated exchange with a station staffer last week.
A row broke out after word got back to Hadley that the staffer – whose identity has not been revealed – had made a joke about his friend and former station manager Ian Holland, a pilot, and a plane crash he miraculously survived in 2010, Mumbrella understands.
Hang on,
The same thing happened to my 9 years old son in the school yard recently.
Coincidence? I think not…
Hot head or big head? I gave up listening to Ray Hadley a few years back when he started becoming a lawyer, more than a talk-back hostie. He’s gone the way of John Laws… and now a bit too full of himself. It appears even his fellow workers may have similar thoughts.
over-sized Egos that’s all!
There’s no winners in this episode.
Insensitive Staffer, Over-Sensitive Talent, Bully-boy Production “Team”, Unsupported Station Management, Interfering Shareholder.
What a place!
Good to see the other side of the story in SMH today. Poor bloke copped it over a podcast.
