War of the Worlds on Radio 2SER has Sydney under alien invasion for Halloween eve

Sydney radio listeners were coaxed into looking skyward last night as community station Radio 2SER reported an alien invasion in a modern day adaptation of Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds last night.

Halloween Eve marked 75 years since the original radio broadcast, based on HG Wells’ novel, and 2SER program director Anthony Dockerill produced and broadcast the show to engage listeners in the drama.

2SER also used its Twitter and Facebook feeds to provide news updates on the latest, such as:
