3m tune in for The Block’s finale

The Block’s finale may have been anticlimactic but it still pulled in more than 3m viewers for the winner announcement last night.

In what is likely to be Nine’s biggest night of the ratings year, the winner announcement averaged 3.089m, peaking at 3.428m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

The earlier finale night show for The Block rated 2.282m, while the auction rated 2.69m.

The debut of Underbelly Razor also performed strongly, with 2.51m for the first episode and 2.089m for the second.
