ABC’s Back Roads gains popularity as non-ratings period kicks in
The non-ratings period kicked in hard last night with many of the commercial broadcasters running more limited schedules, allowing Seven to dominate the night and ABC to gain traction with its Back Roads program.
Back Roads airing at 8pm managed 715,000 viewers and was the eighth most watched program overall.
In the 7:30pm same time-slot Nine’s RBT lost traction with 602,000 viewers down from last weeks 759,000. Airing at the same time Seven’s The Big Bang Theory saw 443,000 tune in, while Ten’s All Star Family Feud repeat managed 490,000 according to OzTAM’s overnight metro ratings.
Seems to be significant ratings detail for a non ratings period…..
What an anachronistic term that is.
