Ninja Warrior 1.68m premiere beats House Rules grand finale

Nine’s premiere of its new obstacle course entertainment show, Australia Ninja Warrior, topped Sunday night television with a metro audience of 1.68m proving more popular than Seven’s House Rules finale.

Ninja Warrior, which aired at 7pm, also topped the key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49, 25-54 and total people, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Also airing at 7.00pm was Seven’s finale of its renovation program House Rules, which attracted 1.142m for the winner announcement and 1.007m for the overall episode.
