An Australian grab for power: Jackson
Director Peter Jackson has issued a statement in reaction to the unions which have recommended their actors not to work on The Hobbit, claiming the Australian Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance is using the film to widen its membership and power in New Zealand.
“My personal opinion is that this is a grab for power,” said Jackson.
