ABC’s 7.30, which is currently being hosted by News Breakfast presenter Michael Rowland over the summer break, drew 521,000 metro viewers on Thursday night for an interview with Prime Minister Scott Morrison about the bushfire crisis. With the addition of regional viewers, it had 737,000.

Prime Minister @ScottMorrisonMP: “You cannot link any individual single emissions reduction policy of a country, whether it's Australia or anyone else, to any specific fire event. I mean, that's just absurd.” #abc730 #auspol pic.twitter.com/aaJPyl3dVz
