7-Eleven rides on the back of Aussie Tour De France victory

7-Eleven is showing its support for Australian Tour De France winner Cadel Evans today offering a free frozen drink served in a yellow cup to anyone who enters a store wearing cycling gear.

People have up until midnight tonight to claim their free Slurpee at any store with Lycra attire not essential but encouraged.

Julie Laycock, the chain’s head of marketing said: “For today only, any cycling garb worn into a 7-Eleven store qualifies and entitles customers to a free Slurpee in a yellow cup – the more Lycra the better!”

The offer was promoted via Slurpee Australia’s Facebook page today, which has over 126,000 fans.
