96 FM cancels ‘Paul & Lise’ breakfast show
Australian Radio Network’s 96FM in Perth will soon unveil a new breakfast show, as the network revealed its hosts Paul Hogan and Lisa Fernandez would not be returning after the mid-year survey break.
In the most recent radio ratings survey, released on 4 June, 96 FM had a 7.1% share in breakfast, behind rivals Nova 93.7 (13.1%), Mix 94.5 (12.9%), and Hit 92.9 (8.3%).

Seems a little unfair to get rid of them. Especially Lisa. BRING BACK LISA!!

Well I may tune in to 96fm if it is a positive change . Moved to listen to Nova breakfast show when Fitzy and Carmen were axed as could not get Paul and Lise.

I took a while to get used to Paul and lise but ended up luvin them. always you axe our favs. well might be time to find another station cos I’m getting horrible flash backs of Ugly Phil and the half wot humour of Will and Woody is just sad. bye bye 96. we are done
This is absolutely ridiculous. First you axed Carmen and Fitzy who I liked and now Lisa and Paul.
Had to Google where they are as there was nothing said or explained they just didn’t come in at 6am.

96fm you expect loyalty from your listeners but show no loyalty to your staff or us ,you sack people then don’t let anyone know having to find out through other sources ,I’ve been a regular since your inception ive changed stations before because of your shit decision-making ie Alice Cooper and then your music tastes but ive come back when it got better but this time you can go fuck yourselves, I’m in WA not Melbourne I want local hosts not your arvo drop kicks either
Well absolutely Gutted!! Paul and Lisa were hilarious, my morning drive to work constantly had me in laughter. These new ones are more than boring. Sorry I’ve had to switch to 93 Nova ?
Make your mind up 96fm carmen n fitzy were awesome then paul n lise took over and it took awile for everyone to get to kniw them and used to them and just when everyone loved em you axe em …how long before you axe boticas bunch who have now taken over ….not impressed
Not happy Jan….. was loving Paul and Lise had to Google to find out. Also Will and Woody are ridiculous as are all the rest of the stations in the afternoon. Going back to Nova my morning choice and 97.3 in the afternoon drive home. Very disappointed!!!
Really not happy. I go away for a few days and this happens! I am really miserable in the morning now. I loved Paul and Lise. Botica’s bunch – REALLY!!!! Drab, lifeless and old fashioned! Get with the program 96fm.
Paul and Lise, what a good start to our day, they were such a great crack up !!! People were Set for the rest of the day after listening to these two wonderful funny breakfast hosts. What have you done 96 fm??. You’ve ruined our happy fresh sunny morning starts to our now boring miserable mornings -BRING BACK LISA AND PAUL OR 96fm will have lost two religious morning listeners !!! Well I be switching back to 94.5 if bringing back dinosaurs is the best you can do that’s trouble with Perth. Just can’t move foward something new ? Best of luck you need it

Botica’s bunch they sound so (no disrespect to the Botica’s bunch ) life less, he’ directors boss idiots its morning get some life in the show. Paul and Lisa yes they not perfect but they kept us smiling and laughing and sometime swearing. And Yes I agree with the others keep the show local.

Finally Paul & Lise are gone. Paul was tolerable, but Lisa, she is [Edited under Mumbrella’s comment moderation policy] Even her tv appearances are cringe worthy.

Long time listener of 96fm , went away came back after a holiday and switched on my radio to discover no Paul and Lisa . Had to google to find out they are gone !!! Bad enough that I have to tolerate Will and Woody now you have taken off the best radio duo that makes morning traffic bearable .Smart , funny , upto date and real all I can ask is why ???
So devastated. Lise and Paul made my morning. Listening to them on my drive to work always made me laugh. Love these two they have been the best morning radio presenters in a long long time. Not going to follow 96fm in the morning anymore. Not happy at all. I was loving Paul and Lise had to Google to find out. Very disappointed and upset!
Listened to Paul and Lise on the school run in Singapore and loved them. Always so much fun and uplifting in the am. Devo the have been moved kn. No disrespect but not a fan of the new duo. Just boring in comparison
