A good weekend for Die Hard
Bruce Willis’ latest foray in the Die Hard franchise has topped the Australian box office this weekend, making more than $3.75 million.
A Good Day To Die Hard, the fifth in the Die Hard series that started in 1988, raked in $3,824,105 across 394 screens in Australia in its debut weekend. Each screen averaged almost $10,000.
The film sees Willis return to the role of John McClane, who travels to Russia in search of his son. It has not been received well by critics, but this weekend has made more than twice what fellow debut film Jack the Giant Slayer did.
