AACTAS look at name change for Raymond Longford Award as nominations open

The AACTA Awards have opened nominations for the Raymond Longford and Byron Kennedy Awards. They have also introduced a proposal to rename it the Longford Lyell Award.

The release:

AACTA is now calling for recommendations for two of the nation’s most coveted and prestigious screen excellence Awards – the AACTA Raymond Longford Award and the Byron Kennedy Award.

Both Awards will be presented in Sydney early 2015 at the 4th AACTA Awards, and recommendations for both are due by 5pm Friday 10 October 2014.
