ABC beats Ten for fourth time this week

For the fourth time since the post-Easter ratings period began six days ago on Sunday 23 May, the national broadcaster has commanded a higher average audience share than the embattled Ten network.

The first Friday of the ratings period following the Easter break saw Seven definitively win the night with a 22.4% audience share, according to OzTam’s preliminary overnight metro ratings. Nine came in second with 16.1%, ahead of the ABC’s 11.5% and Ten’s 9.8%. 

Even once the network’s multi-channel offeringswere factored into the equation, the ABC remained ahead with 16.2%, compared to Ten’s 15.9%. Seven’s channels had a 33.1% share and Nine’s 27.7%.

SBS’ main station had a 5.6% share and across all its channels it had 7.0%.
