ABC director of local and regional, Michael Mason, steps down after 34 years
Michael Mason, the ABC’s director of local and regional operations, is to step down after 34 years with the national broadcaster.
In an email sent to ABC staff today, Mason emphasised his resignation was not linked to the departures of managing director Michelle Guthrie and chairman Justin Milne last month.
He is expected to officially leave the broadcaster in early December.
