ABC News says ‘G’Day’ to Donald Trump
Remember when Twitter was a happy place where people replaced certain words of movie titles to create hours of endless, and indeed harmless, fun? The times before it became ever-more shouty and ever-more angry? No, neither does Dr Mumbo.
But thankfully Australia’s national broadcaster is here to make the platform a little brighter this week.
US President Donald Trump has, to Dr Mumbo’s shock and surprise, gone on a Twitter rant about polls, Fox News, fake news, swing states and ABC News. That’s a lot to fit into 280 characters.
Unfortunately, in his rage, he has mistakenly thrown shade at our own national broadcaster, the ABC.
There’s a lot to loathe about the ABC but this isn’t one of them. Cute.
Say what you will about the ABC but typically their social media game is on point.
