The ABC has issued a statement in response to recent speculation the iconic children’s program Bananas In Pyjamas has been scrapped, saying the show is “safe.”

The statement said:

Will the Rat in the Hat leave the sinking ship?
Is it true Morgan that has been split from the other teddies by faceless men from NSW?
One thing we know for sure: B1 is always thinking what B2 is thinking because B1 is B2’s puppet.
Not sure where in the ABC’s statement they actually say the show is “safe”?
I blame the switch from live action to animated…and the bears must have catch them finally unawares..
Hi Paul,
If you follow the link to the ABC statement in the third paragraph, you’ll see it says “Bananas in Pyjamas safe on ABC TV.”
Thanks,
Cameron.
If it is true I sure hope that the Gillard Government has a bail out program. Lets face it B1 and B2 are so aPEELing!!!
