ABC TV names sport and comedy bosses

ABC TV has revealed more appointments in its wide-ranging reorganisation, naming a head of sport & events, a head of comedy and deputy controller of ABC TV.

The announcement:

Following ABC TV’s current reorganisation, the network announced today the appointment of three senior positions.

Justin Holdforth has been appointed Head of Sport & Events. Justin had been acting in this role since mid 2009. Justin has over 23 years experience with the ABC and has worked across many programs in a variety of roles. Prior to acting as Head Sport & Events, Justin was Executive Producer Sport & Events where he was responsible for managing the national sports slate including the Beijing Paralympics, W-League Football, The Hopman Cup and Women’s Open Golf. Justin will report to the Head of Factual and begins in the role immediately.
