ABC’s David Pendleton resigns as COO
Chief operating officer at the ABC, David Pendleton, has resigned from the national broadcaster after 20 years of service.
Joining the ABC as general manager of group audit in 1996, Pendleton later held positions as general manager of financial operations and accounting and head of finance. His career continued with the network as he was appointed as director of finance and support services in 2002, before becoming COO two years later.
Prior to working at the ABC Pendleton held senior positions in the NSW public sector and is currently the director at MediaHub Australia.
The disintegration of the ABC will be the media story of 2017.
