ABC’s news and current affairs slate builds audience share to 14%

Despite the fierce rivalry between Nine and Seven’s reality shows, Married at First Sight and My Kitchen Rules, ABC’s news and current affairs programming nabbed the broadcaster to a 14% main channel share last night.

The most-watched program of the night was ABC News, with 778,00 metro viewers whilst Australian Story and Four Corners reported audiences of 645,00 and 602,000 respectively, according to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight metro ratings.
