ACA story on Struggle Street most watched show of the night as X Factor lifts audience

Last night’s A Current Affair story on how public broadcaster SBS is looking to commission a second season of documentary Struggle Street in Sunshine, Victoria drew 1.135m metro viewers and was the most watched show of Monday night.

A Current AffairAccording to Oztam overnight preliminary ratings, Nine’s ACA was more than 150,000 viewers up on last week, while in the 7.30pm slot Seven’s X Factor lifted on last week’s performance, up 69,000 viewers, to 1.017m.

X Factor won its timeslot up against The Block which had 999,000 viewers and The Biggest Loser Families which was down on last week, with 523,000 viewers. 

Over on the ABC, at 8pm, 946,000 people watched the Australian Story episode looking at singer Jenny Morris’s life.
