ACCC announces public forum for advertisers to comment on digital platforms

Advertisers have been invited to a public forum in Melbourne at the end of the month to discuss the effects of digital platforms on the industry, the ACCC has announced.

The forum, which will take place in Melbourne on May 30, is part of the government’s inquiry into the digital giants’ effects on Australian news and advertising.

The inquiry has seen over 60 public submissions tendered and the agency is hoping to attract small businesses along with advertisers to discuss the effects of the platforms on the industry.
