Adelaide radio ratings: Mix keeps top spot as SAFM struggles
Mix 102.3 has continued its streak at the the top of Adelaide’s radio market, despite cancelling out last months 0.5 percentage point gain, dropping the same margin this book to 13.0%.
Nova and Triple M carried on growth from last month in breakfast, but AM radio still dominates.
Overall, Nova jumped to second with an 11.5% share, up 0.6 percentage points, following the return of Nova Boy last month. It was followed by Cruise 1323 at 11.1% , with FIVEaaa at 10.8%, Triple M on 10.1% and ABC Adelaide recording 10.0% rounding out the chasing pack.

ABC Adelaide’s Ali Clarke continues to dominate breakfast
Southern Cross Austereos’s SAFM was the big loser from the third survey of the year, dropping 1.5 percentage points to 7.1% overall share. It is yet to make a big impact since rebranding back to the SAFM title last year from Hit Network.
AM has continued to lead breakfast, with Ali Clarke continuing at the front, despite experiencing a one-point drop to 14.4%. FIVEaaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings’ show is not far behind on 13.8% after a slight gain.
Still a relatively new pairing, Mix 102.3’s Erin and Soda lead the FM breakfast pack once again, with their absence at the end of March clearly not having any lasting impact, making a slight gain to take home a 12.3% share.
Roo and Ditts’ Triple M breakfast show saw the biggest gain, jumping 2.1 percentage points to an 11.2% share, overtaking Nova’s Ben and Liam, who also made a 0.4 point gain, rising into double digits at 10.2%.
In the drive slot, Nova led the way with a significant gain consolidating last month’s lead, as national drive team, Kate, Tim and Joel jumped 1.4 percentage points to hold a 15.8% share.
Mix 102.3’s drive slot with Will and Woody recovered from last month’s slight regression, gaining 0.9 percentage points to land on 13.9%, the show firmly the slot leader in each of the three surveys so far this year.
SAFM again experienced a big drop in drive, with Hit Network national show, Carrie and Tommy dropping 1.9 percentage points to 7.7%.
