Adelaide radio ratings: Mix maintains top spot as Nova climbs

DMG’s 5AA has dropped in the recent radio ratings survey to strengthen the overall stronghold of Australian Radio Network’s Mix102.3, according to Nielsen figures for the Monday to Sunday share.

Despite dropping 0.6%, the classic rock FM station Mix, had a 16.2 share. The AM station dropped 1.3% from a 14.8 to 13.5 share. In survey #6 ratings results, Mix passed 5AA with a 2% share.

Paul Jackson, DMG’s group program director told Mumbrella: “5AA is doing great, before it was dizzyingly high, and now it’s settled to normal but still strong and is absolutely rock sold ahead of its competitors.”

Southern Cross Austereo’s SAFM was fourth overall with a 10.3 share, down by 0.2%, behind third place ABC891 with a 10.5% share. DMG’s Nova placed fifth with a 9.8% share, with a strong leap of 1.5%.
