Adobe’s masterclass in how not to hold a press conference
Dr Mumbo always enjoys it when a press conference goes astray.
And he’s three weeks behind on this video, shot by Renai LeMay of Delimiter, who gave the CEO of Adobe a hard time over the product being priced more highly in Australia than the US.
Rather than squirming and dodging the question, Dr Mumbo suggests Adobe may want to find an actual way of preparing an answer before the next press conference.
The 300,000th view approaches…
It’s not quite Paxmanesque, but nearly….
“Value this and value that”
Here is how you create value Adobe: Drop your prices in Oz you bureaucratic fck tards!
Check out the face on the guy in the background – especially in the second part. Priceless!
He looks like one of JFK’s bodyguards after the shots were fired!
A simple yes or no question gets totally snowballed here. Universal pricing in regards to the outrageous cost of software programs that are superseded so quickly in this new age would be a major step ahead for adobe. It would also reduce piracy.
They did drop their prices.
Yes the body language of both is priceless.
I was absolutely hooked on Photoshop, but now run old versions, as in the words of Michael Clayton. ” tell em they’re dreamin”
It would be brilliant marketing practice to slash their prices to be a third or less to become the must-have software and sell high volumes.
Instead I have found a very good competitors alternative for $100
Cannot work out how overpriced low volume sales help Adobe.
Ahhh yes. Michael Clayton, the famous Michael Caton ventriloquist.
Say creative cloud again.
SAY CREATIVE CLOUD AGAIN!
I dare you, I double dare you.
