Adrian Brine launches new startup Onnair as he prepares to close Spotd
The creator of soon to be closed talent-sharing platform Spotd has launched a new website aimed specifically at those working in the radio industry.
Onnair.com, created by Spotd founder Adrian Brine, will seek to bring together a community of current and future radio professionals looking to share their work with the industry.
“We tried to broaden the site out as a talent discovery platform,” said Brine, “but given the contacts, we naturally fell into radio land.”
‘Startup’. If this word reaching it’s end? I am sick of hearing about somebodies new venture, or business, or organisation, or project as a ‘startup’. Has the term ‘startup’ became too hipster? So many hipster CEO’s of ‘startup’s’ with 2 employees. CEO, with 2 employees? That is another annoyance of mine. You own and operate a small business, you are not a ‘CEO’!
Sorry, rant over and this is not in anyway directed at the good guys at SPOTD / Onnair
Peace
Is* this word reaching…
