AFP finally delivers Nine with a new hit show – and 58% timeslot uplift

The Nine Network has finally found itself a hit programming launch with the first episode of documentary AFP rating 1.248m last night – up 58% on the show that previously occupied the timeslot.

The show – produced by Zapruder’s Other Films – won its timeslot in all demographics and was third for the night overall. It was second for the key 25-54 and 18-49 demos, according to overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

It was also up an impressive 58% on the 791,000 audience delivered in the timeslot by repeated US sitcom Mike & Molly.
