Can of Worms rates just 351,000 for Ten
The second night of the official ratings season was a brutal one for Ten, with the network dropping below a 10 per cent share and running a distant fourth behind its rivals.
The return of the network’s panel show Can Of Worms managed just 351,000 capital city viewers to run 29th for Monday – beaten by Ten’s afternoon soap The Bold And The Beautiful with 416,000, according to preliminary OzTAM ratings.
That was despite the publicity host Chrissie Swan received after her revelations in the last few days she smoked while pregnant . The ratings were similar to those achieved by the network’s dance contest Everybody Dance Now, which was axed last year.
Chrissie Swan certainly won’t be breaking out the cigars with those results.
You’d think there would have been more interest in the show after she sucked down that packet of Peter Jackson Supremes last week.
Not exactly on fire……. but certainly smokin’!
The way Ten turned Chrissie’s predicament into a promo opportunity for the show was disgusting. I would love to know her thoughts on that. I found it an absolute turn-off.
Get Real- that is a hilarious comment!! Chrissie Swan is an overhyped personality
hey channel ten, please give me a call, I will be happy to advise you on what the average joe wants to see on television. Whoever you are relying on now has absolutely no idea. My time will be given gratis, it is sad to see the rubbish that you currently put up.
I am with Peter, Anyone can programme better than what you are doing now. Cut Masrterchef back to Sunday nights only or maybe plus Thursday night,
You can’t sack half of your staff, loose your best talent to the opposition & then wonder why the network doesn’t rate. Simpsons repeats at 6pm – are you kidding? At least try to compete!!
Can of worms….ZZZZzzzzZZZZZZzzzz…..
