AGL pushes its expertise in solar products in new campaign from CHE Proximity
The technical superiority of AGL’s solar panels and the expertise of their installers is the focus of a new campaign to push the brand’s renewable energy technology.
Created by CHE Proximity, the 30s TVC shows a number of appliances assembling into the shape of a sun, supported by the line: “Not all solar is created equal.”

I thought McCann won AGL? Anyway, I wonder if Clemenger Harvie Edge and Clemenger BBDO enjoy sharing AGL and Origin?
So glad they’ve moved on from that other retro music they always use… Great work CHE.
Where does it highlight “the 175 years of experience AGL has in the industry”? Apart from the line “Not all solar is created equal” it does little to say they’re different from any other. It says your electrical appliances can be powered by the sun.
I feel like toast.
Looks awesome! Great video. We will folow this campaign closer 🙂
Not a bad little piece of branding. The toast is cool.
So is this a smokescreen to try and make the AGL brand seem all nice and clean and ‘renewable’, whilst they continue to inject toxic chemicals into the earth?

Hard to polish a turd wrapped up in greenwash! AGL use the same actual kit as everyone and outsource their entire solar operations to contractors… Having sacked the majority of their team earlier in the year…
In addition to Mumbrella, I also subscribe to RenewEconomy and the Guardian.
AGL may fool some of the people some of the time, but for the moderately well informed, and I am presumptuous enough to want to class myself in that category, AGL are on the side of solar sinners, not solar angels. Just greenwash.

This ad is remarkably similar to the Sunrun commercial we at Cutwater made for Sunrun in the USA last year.
