Aldi Comms Director to take over Jacqui Abbott’s role at Foxtel
The communications director of Aldi is set to join Foxtel this year.
In December, Mumbrella reported that Foxtel’s executive director of group communications, Jacqui Abbott, will depart the company at the end of March and it has now been revealed who will take over the position.
In an internal note sent to staff on Wednesday seen by Mumbrella, Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany confirmed that Adrian Christie will take on the role from the end of March.
“For the last six years Adrian has held the role of communications director for Aldi Stores Australia, overseeing all corporate affairs, government relations, internal communications and consumer PR for their nearly 600 stores across Australia and 16,000+ workforce,” the note reads.
Video games, fintech, groceries and now TV entertainment – is there anything you can’t PR? Congrats.
I think all I can add is Good luck! I think you will need it.
