Amber Harrison concedes defeat in legal fight with Seven

Amber Harrison, the former Seven staffer who had an affair with CEO Tim Worner before going to war with the broadcaster, has signalled that she will give up the battle.

Harrison: Went public on the liaison but will not fight on

In a series of tweets on Friday afternoon, Harrison said she would throw in the towel when the legal case resumes in the High Court on Monday.

Harrison has been embroiled in a series of legal tussles with Seven after claiming that the end of her relationship with Worner had left her in an impossible position at work. A subsequent legal settlement fell apart, which saw Harrison then go public on the relationship in December last year.

Best move she’s made yet. She was a willing participant in it all, and was then paid quite a bit of money (that she arguably did not deserve) in compensation – so it’s not like she was some innocent who was coerced or sexually taken advantage of, or anything like that.
She now needs to go and restart her life.
