Amber Harrison launches GoFundMe campaign to pay Seven’s legal bills
The long-running battle between media giant Seven West Media and former executive assistant Amber Harrison, who engaged in an affair with CEO Tim Worner, rolls on, with Harrison now launching a ‘Guilt-Free TV campaign’ on GoFundMe in a bid to pay her hefty legal bills.
“Channel Seven makes great TV shows which are loved by millions of Australians,” the campaign says. “Sadly, some recent legal issues mean the network may end up bankrupting former employee and single foster-mum Amber Harrison. Legal restrictions prevent Amber from telling you what happened. Google is under no such restrictions.”
The campaign, which appears to be created by Harrison, notes Seven has millions of viewers who could easily collectively fund the bills after Harrison lost her battle against Seven West Media and was ordered to pay the network’s costs.
Worner should pay her legal bills out of his pocket (with very strict conditions) so this story can fade and Amber Harrison can finally crawl back under a rock.
Here’s a dollar. Call someone who cares.
Amber was on a winner, and then she blew it.
She should have taken all their money, handed over all the files they asked for, and kept her mouth shut.
I mean, I wish someone had given me over $200k when my last fling ended.
Correct. I can’t imagine that anyone else would have sided with her to pursue the matter. If she did it for ‘justice’, then she has to accept that justice has delivered her a net loss of $400k.
Still expecting someone else to pay for her mistakes then?
If you have an affair with a married man or woman I feel like you forfeit the right to tell people about “guilt free” anything.
The scorned woman having failed to extort Seven West is now trying to extort the public – you can’t make this stuff up.
“For just $1, enjoy Guilt-Free TV.” You really can’t make this hogwash up! At the end of the day, nobody outside of media circles could give a damn about Amber or Tim. And if they do, let’s hope they’ve learnt a fundamental workplace lesson: if you’re going to bang the boss, don’t be an idiot about it. Oh, and don’t throw other people under the bus to excuse you’re behavior. It takes two to do the horizontal Lambada. And even more to clean up the grubby mess.
This delusional individual who decided despite the best legal advice to pursue an unsuccessful claim now wants everybody to pay for her stupidity. For the courts to award costs against her would indicate that her case had no substance whatsoever because under normal circumstances both parties would be expected to bear their own costs when there is such an asymmetric financial capacity.
If the sisterhood are stupid enough to pay this money and all I can say is a fool and his/her money are soon parted.
