American Wilfred to BBC

Jason Gann’s American version of Wilfred has been picked up by BBC3 before its launch on channel FX on 23 June.

The show stars Elijah Wood as Ryan, replacing Adam Zwar’s introverted Adam, with Gann still in the dog costume.

Gann is also Co-Executive Producer for the American series alongside Executive Producers Joe Connor and Ken Connor, producers of the Australian version and David Zuckerman (The Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill).

Gann and Zwar  expanded the storyline of their 2002 Best Comedy Tropfest short film, for an SBS series.
