‘A visionary school’? Media release presented as news story….paid for by?
Hi Jake,
Thanks for the comment.
The above is presented as the media release in full, and should be read as such. This is the normal way we present content in the FYI section on the site. Click the links to see other examples.
There is no commercial arrangement in place with Mumbrella and this school.
Best,

So you’ll put up the courses for any film or media school that sends you a media release? If so, I know lots of people who will want to be in touch regarding this opportunity for free promotion! I get emails from th AFTRS all the time, and I would hazard that they are more relevant to mUmbrella’s non-Encore audience as they include sectors such as radio.
I would also suggest you make it more transparent by putting the words ‘media release’ somewhere in the heading rather than as the very last thing to be mentioned. Otherwise you get to that point and feel duped. I’m sure there was a comment thread about just that kind of ging on here last week.
