ARN announces ‘state-based structure’ for total audio growth; shares latest commercial appointments

ARN has a new “a state-based structure to create a single point of contact for partners and supercharge Total Audio growth”. The new model also comes with five appointments.

The announcement:

ARN has announced five senior commercial appointments and introduced a state-based structure to create a single point of contact for partners and supercharge Total Audio growth.

The newly appointed director of sales – total audio in each state will lead their respective state-based sales team with responsibility for metro, regional, and digital revenues across ARN’s leading live broadcast, live streaming and podcast assets. These leaders will work alongside the newly formed Integrate by ARN team and the global iHeart team to create impactful ideas for brands, spearheading ARN’s digital transformation. All roles report to Richard Hunwick, the newly appointed director of sales – total audio.

These senior appointments in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth support ARN’s commitment to fostering exceptional talent and building high-performance teams.

Ashlea Reece has been appointed director of sales – total audio (Sydney). Ash has been at ARN for 15 years and is currently the Sydney sales director – agency. She has an outstanding reputation in the largest national market and is widely recognised for developing creative solutions for brands.

Nick Flood has been appointed director of sales – total audio (Melbourne). Nick has been at ARN for seven years and is currently the national sales director – independent agencies and direct advertisers in Melbourne. Nick brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across Australia and New Zealand.

Emily Buckby has been appointed as director of sales – total audio (Brisbane). Emily has been at ARN for nine years and is currently the Brisbane sales director – agency. Emily is well known to the Brisbane advertising market and brings over 20 years of experience, having held roles across ARN, Nova, TEN and oOh!

Sonia Russo has been appointed director of sales – total audio (Adelaide). Sonia has been at ARN for 16 years and is currently the Adelaide sales director – agency. Sonia has extensive client and agency relationships in Adelaide and previously held senior roles at Clemenger BBDO and Starcom MediaVest.

Aaron Bryant has been appointed director of sales – total audio (Perth). Aaron has been at ARN for six years and is currently Perth sales director – agency. With deep agency and media experience, Aaron is well-known to the Perth market, having previously worked at Nova, JCDecaux and Initiative.

Michael Stephenson, chief operating officer of ARN, said, “The Total Audio commercial structure creates a single point of contact for every partner in every market to leverage the size, scale and power of ARN’s leading audio platform, whilst using the Audiosphere and ARN’s first-party data assets to generate massive ideas.

The new appointments are effective immediately.
