ASTRA reveals awards shortlist

The finalists for this year’s ASTRA Awards, which celebrates the best in pay TV, have been revealed with XYZ Networks channels leading with 21 entries making it through.

Those shortlisted for the channel of the year award are Bio, The Lifestyle Channel, Fox8, Fox Sports and Nick Jr. The winner will be decided by the ASTRA board.

30 Seconds, the comedy show about the advertising industry, made it on the shortlist for most outstanding drama, while its actors Joel Tobeck and Kat Stewart were also nominated.

The show was created by Three Drunk Monkeys founders Justin Drape and Scott Nowell together and Prodigy’s Tim Bullock.
