Aussie company Kite invited to Collision showcase of start ups
A small Australian company has been included in the line up for this year’s Collide showcase event for start up firms.
The release:
Kite’s Founder and Publisher Kiera Kelly today announced the digital publishing company’s inclusion in Collide, the official start-up programme at Collision conference in Las Vegas in May, 2015. Collide has been described as ‘bringing the world’s most promising together’ to exhibit, pitch, network, raise funding, gain world-wide media exposure and rub shoulders with tech giants such as Apple, Google and Facebook. Kite has launched a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo with corporate and individual giveaways to raise funds so that the company can attend Collision and participate in Collide.
“We’re here to find the next Google. The next Facebook.” Said Niklas Zennstrom, founder of Skype on the Collide start-up track. The ‘track’ has a strong track record of success, and been the launching pad for companies such as Uber, Airtasker, Coursera and Nest.
