Australia Post appoints Coles’ Amber Collins as CMO
Australia Post has announced the appointment of Coles’ Amber Collins as its new chief marketing officer, replacing Karl Winther who commenced in the role last October and departed in March.
Collins started in the CMO role two weeks ago on 13 August, and will have overall responsibility for developing and executing marketing strategy and plans to support revenue and growth ambitions, as well as creating an iconic brand “that Australians know and love so they’ll be loyal beyond reason”.

Collins has commenced in the new role
Who cares?? The whole business of AusPost is socialised through taxpayers money.
She literally has no role there. Revenue and funding secured via tax funds.
Think NoNewsHere has a very narrow view of what a CMO might do.
Awww Cynic.
Are you trying to spoil another RWNJ’s fun with a balanced viewpoint? What a spoil-sport.
An excellent appointment.
A highly experienced team player, much respected by colleagues and partners alike.
Much missed at Coles.
Missed indeed. Current coles team and strategy floundering at best.
Were they really doing any better previously? ‘Good Things’ hardly set the world on fire.
Have you ever turned a big ship in one move?
+1
What happened to Karl Winther? I wasn’t aware he moved on.
He moved on after 4 mths as the ‘fit’ wasn’t right.
T’was the Winther of Discontent.
Responding…Very good from you.
I hope we get postage prices are down, down.
…is what we want to be down, down. AP are pretty handy at eComm delivery.
Huge win for Australia Post; missed greatly by her team at Coles.
