Australian Event Awards launches

A new awards event has been launched – to recognise Australia’s best events.

The Australian Event Awards will take place across 23 categories and culminate in a ceremony on October 8.

The organisers say the initiative will encompass business, cultural, sporting and community events from all over Australia.

The awards are being co-chaired by Sandy Hollway, former CEO of the Sydney organising committee for the Olympics and John Allen, Foundation Director of the Australian Centre for Event Management.
