Australian Olympic Committee communications chief departs
The Australian Olympic Committee’s chief of communications and media is leaving the job after just ten months in the role.
Ellie Laing-Southwood joined the organisation in October, shortly after the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Mumbrella understands her role has been made redundant.
Aside from her role as the AOC’s communications chief, Laing-Southwood is also a board member of Sport NSW, and co-author of the children’s book Somebody’s Land, with former AFL star and Australian of the Year Adam Goodes.
