Australians speak about their experience with the flu in prevention campaign
The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services has launched a flu campaign to protect Victorians from catching the bug.
Created by The Shannon Company, the ‘You Never Forget the Flu’ campaign features all different Australians of all ages discussing how it affected them, encouraging people to get the flu shot.
“The flu flattened me,” one man says, “four weeks on the couch,” says another.
The “flu” consists of many different strains all over the world at any one time. And it mutates very fast, sometimes it is very different when it crosses to another country. There is currently no general anti-virus compound that works on “cold” and “flu” so they must make a separate concoction for each separate strain, and this takes time. In the time it takes to concoct their “vaccine”, the original flu will have mutated. This is why the flu vaccine last year failed to stop the mutated strains when they hit australia and many got sick despite this wonderous concoction. The ONLY effective anti flu measure is to avoid getting it. This especially means that these idiot martyrs who insist on coming to work to spread the flu should be forcibly detained in home detention. Hyper vigilance in hygiene is also very important. I am suspicious of motivations of corrupt big pharma and their concoctions, especially since it is common to have some unpleasant symptoms after the sainted “flu shot”. The “flu shot” also gives people a false sense of invincibility and they would thus engage in dangerous behaviours thinking that they are “cured” of any risk. So all the self righteous bleating that the advertising industry (funded by big pharma) comes up with is really annoying.
William – I’m not a doctor, so I’ll leave poking holes in your medical arguement for those more qualified. However you’re miles off on your ‘funded by big pharma’ argument here – this is a state funded campaign mate.
