Australian Super appoints head of brand and growth marketing

Australian Super has appointed Rob Wilde as its new head of brand and growth marketing.

Wilde joins the superannuation fund from 7-Eleven Australia, where he has spent the past three years as senior marketing and communications lead. There, according to his Linkedin, he led a team of eight marketers across brand, communications, sponsorship and insights, delivering integrated marketing and media campaigns.

He has also held marketing roles at AIA Australia, MYOB, and REA Group, as well as strategy planning positions at DDB Melbourne, J. Walter Thompson, and BWM Dentsu.

“I’m thrilled to join Australian Super and bring my background in consumer marketing and branding to a highly competitive market,” he said in a statement to Mumbrella.

“Superannuation plays a vital role in the financial wellbeing of all Australians, regardless of their age. I’m looking forward to working with the team to help more than 3.5 million members achieve their best financial position in retirement – and to support even more Australians to join us on that journey.”
