Australia’s biggest tosser uses another lifeline
Few things in life are more of a dead cert than the fact that Eddie McGuire will say something foolish, cause great offence, apologise a number of times with increasing effectiveness, and get away with it.
The latest incident being McGuire’s AFL commentary howler over the coin toss at Friday night’s Sydney Swans – Adelaide Crows game.

The Weekly is a bit hit and miss quality wise I reckon, but that was genuinely hilarious. I like the collectable coins, with room to grow your collection in future! Perfect take-down of a real tosser.

He clearly did not see the disabled woman throwing the coin in relation to his comment. Big deal if she was disabled also, she should be given the same respect as someone without a disability.
Get over it.

… Eddie is handsomely paid to commentate.
And that should include knowing about the coin-toss, as these days it generally has a symbolic meaning and purpose.
His childish and churlish humour can be embarassing at times. And yes he gets caught out at times.
But to paraphrase the old adage … “playing the fool once and getting caught is a shame; but playing the fool again and gain, and getting caught is shame on you”. Eddie – own the problem that you repeatedly have and change your boorish ways.
Yes she should have been given respect, disability or not.
So why was it ok for Eddie to not treat her with respect?
He didn’t need to know if she was disabled or not to treat her with respect, but regardless, he chose to not have any respect for the person tossing the coin.
If you are continuously rude and disrespectful like Eddie constantly is, while being a public figure, it SHOULD be spoken about, and stopped.
Society has already gone down the toilet Margaret, please stop flushing.
